Here’s a summary of the process of how we will work together to give your Chicago area home the style and functionality that you desire.
The design and plan phase consists of meeting with you to create a design plan to suit your budget and give you an estimated lead time to complete your project. After we have a contract in place, we will begin the planning process.
We will work together on your project scope, designs, and price so everything is planned out before the construction starts. We will present you with drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings of your project.
When undertaking a home renovation, one factor to consider is contractor-purchased materials or the procurement of materials by your contractor. By allowing the contractor to handle the material procurement, you can benefit from their expertise and industry connections.
Once the contractor has completed the detailed floor plans, elevations, and specifications for the Remodeling project, the ordering of materials is started.
Typically, a 30%-50% Construction Deposit based on project scope and special order materials is required before materials are ordered. A construction schedule will be released to all stakeholders (client, contractor and building crew).
During construction, the team handles daily management and scheduling, and reporting back to the client. There will be streamlined communication with the client throughout the renovation process to ensure quality control and to minimize errors.
